As part of the Whitworth Art Gallery's grand finale Lucy made this recreation of Jacob Epstien's Genisis sculpture in the park and I was fortunate enough to have a full on week helping out with it. It was hard work but well worth it and I learned a lot about weaving with willow. It gave me some ideas for some rather large pieces I would like to do as well.

Positive Posters Design Contest
Each year the Aussies at Positive Posters run a contest to find a poster that tackles the issues of the day and ones that the contributors care about, I love it and enter whenever I have the time to. These are my contributions for this year. Food, water and natural resources areone of the most important topics of discussion for a sustainable future so I wanted to find a nice simple graphic way to describe these ideas.

Live to ride
I am a borderline cycling obsessive and I have been doing a load of bike themed stuff lately, must be the... weather... well, it was....
so today I made this and I am still chuckling to myself. Stay tuned for a few equally ridiculous variations on the theme.
get it here for the walls or here as a wearable parody.

The wonderful venue in Manchester, The Chinese Arts Centre are hosting a one day pop up for local artists, check it on FB HERE
Titled 7 hours it is to explore the temporary nature of things and was lit with glow sticks to facilitate this as when the light ran out the show was over.
showing him my stuff and having all of them selected as a single piece
I am participating and exhibiting a couple of photography pieces in this show.

The must have T-shirt of the BBQ summer season has now arrived, to much fanfare.
So I made this shirt, it's a bit of fun for the summer and as you can see comes in as much colour variety as the sauces it pays its respects to.
You could purchase it Here at Skreened or Here at Red Bubble or even Here if you like. Have a great summer and don't stop grillin!

Merry Christmas...Everyone
So I like to make Christmas greetings... this is this year's effort...have a great holiday season everyone!!
oh, do you want to see some of the past years efforts as well? oh, ok then...
that was last year, what can I say.. I was actually in space... can't really discuss the details.. clearly.
there are others...
many others..
Like this...you can't be too careful.. just sayin.
ok fine.... here are the rest...
Clearly not the best year ever..
Hmmm..... she is still not on the nice list... whatever, all her fault!
Seriously though, have a bloody good christmas, all of you!
